Target Audience:

Families:
Having a interactive way of communicating makes it more a fun/ stress free experience when it comes to families, especially if you have young children or a large family trying to get across so much information during checking in can be tricky. With this new app, you’ll have all information you need at your fingertips along with the augumented reality allowing you to see it with your own eyes.
Children:
You can never predict how well a child small or big will behave upon arrival at a hotel, they could be tired due to travelling, that why with our app it can be used as a distraction to engage the child with something interactive whilst the parents are able to check in. It also holds all the information that you would be told upon arrival allowing the parents to read through once settled in their rooms. The app will have some sort of entertainment for children too.

Couples:
The augumented reality will be an exciting feature for couples, as again, it allows you to have all the information you need with you at all times. For example, dinner times, access to live maps of the area you are in, and all the information you need during your stay at the hotel.

Business People:
For people whom are staying in the hotel away on business, this app is perfect for them, as it allows them to have a quick check in and go, enabling them to if they need it, find out information on the go as their stay is likely to be short and they are majority of the time on the move.

Feedback with Veronika and Colour Palettes

Today I met up with Veronika and showed her the indesign document of the final leaflet, reflecting on the feedback given during this, I have decided to change the colour theme. We discussed how the dark purple colour isn’t breathable it makes the leaflet very constrophobic and less space. From this I have decided to change the overall colour to white, after taking inspiration from other hotel websites. I also began to explore with the colours, creating and collecting palettes from Adobe Color challenge what colours could go with others in order to make certain information stand out. I also looked into leaflets from the hotel and as you can see in the images below, colours such as orange, blues and yellow work very well when trying to create this.
